The Annual Sports Day was held on 14th August, marked by a series of vibrant events and celebrations. The day began with the felicitation of the Chief Guests by Principal Fr. Naresh Jojowar. A heartfelt tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was then officiated, honoring the great leader’s legacy.
The program continued with a March Past Drill and an energetic Aerobics Dance performed by students from all four houses. Fr. Sebastian Edathumparambil SDB, the Rector, delivered a short inspiring speech, followed by aerobics performances by classes 4 and 5. The Chief Guest, Fr. Cyriac, also addressed the gathering and presented awards for the Best Athlete and Marathon Race winners.
The celebration featured a colorful Bagurumba dance by girls from different houses, each house showcasing their own dance performance. Teachers also performed a dance in honor of Children’s Day. Exciting sports events included relay races for boys and girls, and the final tug of war matches between Blue House and Green House for both boys and girls.
The day was further lively with a fancy dress display by the four houses—Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green. The event concluded with the lowering and folding of the sports flag, which was handed over to the principal. After the Vote of Thanks, the Principal declared the Annual Sports Week 2025 officially closed. The day ended on a joyful note with the school anthem, followed by dispersal.
