On 28th May 2025, a friendly sports event featuring girls’ Kabaddi and football matches was held between two schools: St. Francis Xavier H.S School, Dotma, and Don Bosco School, Ramfalbil. The event was conducted by the principals of both schools—Fr. Naresh Jojowar for St. Francis Xavier and Fr. Joseph Mung for Don Bosco School Ramfalbil—along with Fr. Somesh Tudu, the vice principal, who oversaw the proceedings.
Despite the hot weather, students from both schools enthusiastically watched the matches. The Kabaddi game was officiated by Madam Rosary Basumatary and Miss Jiri Jiri Brahma. In this match, the hoisting school, St. Francis Xavier, emerged as the winners. Conversely, in the football match, the guest team, Don Bosco Ramfalbil, secured victory.
Sir Augustine Kisku from Don Bosco Ramfalbil served as the referee for the football game. Following the matches, all participants and spectators were congratulated on their participation. The principal expressed gratitude to all teachers involved in organizing and ensuring the success of the event. Special mention was made of Fr. Somesh Tudu, who meticulously oversaw all the minute details of the matches.
Light tea and snacks were served to both teams, providing a refreshing end to a lively day of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
