The 34th Sports Week was inaugurated with great excitement and pride at the school from 10th to 13th November 2025. The programme began with a warm and inspiring welcome speech delivered by Principal Fr. Naresh Jojowar SDB, St. Francis Xavier HS School, Dotma, who extended heartfelt greetings to everyone present. He then felicitated the chief guest of the ceremony, Fr. Anil Condpan SDB, Principal-in-Charge of Don Bosco Amguri, adding dignity and grace to the occasion.
The event showcased a vibrant Baguramba dance, reflecting the rich cultural heritage and enthusiasm of the students. The celebration continued with significant ceremonial highlights, including the hoisting of the sports flag, an impressive march past, and the solemn lighting of the sports lamp, which marked the official opening of the Sports Week.
Across the four days, the campus resonated with healthy competition, teamwork, and the joyful spirit of participation as multiple sports events were held for students of different categories. The inauguration not only set an inspiring tone for the days ahead but also strengthened the values of discipline, unity, and sportsmanship—core elements of the school’s spirit and identity.
