The Parents–Teachers Meeting for Classes 9 and 10 was successfully held on 21st November 2025 with a remarkable turnout of enthusiastic and supportive parents. The session began with a warm welcome speech by the Principal, St. Francis Xavier H.S. School, Dotma, who encouraged everyone to openly share suggestions and ideas to enhance students’ learning and overall development. The event continued with Teacher Bilifang Daimary introducing the management and faculty members, helping parents connect closely with the school team responsible for guiding their children.
A key highlight of the meeting was the insightful address by Sir Phungkha Basumatary, who explained the latest education policies and curriculum changes. His presentation was aimed at raising awareness among parents about the evolving academic structure and how it benefits students in the long run. Parents were also invited to express their feedback, and many appreciated the school’s proactive efforts in implementing new systems for academic improvement.
Teachers emphasized the crucial role of consistent guidance at home, as some students tend to take their studies lightly without proper supervision. The meeting concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, reinforcing the shared commitment of parents and teachers to work together for the academic progress and holistic growth of every student.
